The City of East Cleveland, Department of Community Development will hold a Public Meeting to involve residents, council and interested stakeholders in the development of the Fiscal Year (FY) 2021 One-Year Action Plan. This Public Meeting will also include an amendment to the FY 2019 Action Plan to incorporate the use of $110,800 of federal funding made available to the City of East Cleveland from the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security Act (CARES Act) in supplemental CDBG dollars to prevent, prepare for, and respond to coronavirus. Proposed uses and overall priorities of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD)’s Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME funds will be discussed. And a description of eligible activities that may be undertaken with these funds for the City will also be discussed. This meeting will allow these parties to participate (through a survey) in identifying the housing and community development needs and provide strategies to address those needs. Surveys are due December 2, 2020.
