- Street Sweeping: Perform weekly street cleaning for 177 streets within the City from April 15 – October 15. If weather permits, we can continue street sweeping until the end of November. The municipal solid waste contract for five years was re-bid on March 18, 2005 and went into effect on May 19, 2005. We also implemented a curbside recycling through the use of blue bags. The residents can pick up bags from the Service Department Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm.

- Snow Removal: Perform snow removal as necessary generally from November 30-April. The fuel depot allows the City to better utilize man-hours during snow removal.
