CHE GADISON is the newly appointed Interim City Council member for Ward 2.
Gadison is a longtime resident of East Cleveland and has been an active volunteer within the community developing relationships during her involvement in community organizing and working with grassroots organizations. She is the founder of the Millionaire’s Row Neighborhood Association. She formerly worked as a substitute teacher at Virtual Schoolhouse in Cleveland where she enjoyed giving positive direction and education to youth. She also became the Regional Organizing Director for the Ohio Democratic Coordinated Campaign. Her role involved recruiting, hiring, and on-boarding Field Organizers and scouting local offices for the region and developing volunteer leaders to organize phone banks, canvasses, voter registration drives, and other events designed to contact voters and engage volunteers. In addition Coordinated Campaign’s grassroots infrastructure spans all 88 counties and works to energize and empower local communities and she was very dedicated to cultivating a positive team effort for her region.
Gadison holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Wilberforce University and working toward a Masters in Campaign Management from George Washington University. She has been involved on several boards and organizations: MyCom, Junior League of Cleveland, Mocha Moms of Cleveland, Wilberforce Alumni Association, Ohio Organizing Collaborative Training, and the Millionaire’s Row Association. Her focus will be re-branding East Cleveland with her marketing background and fighting for the citizens of East Cleveland with her focus on Ward 2.
