Dear Community Partners:
It is once again that time of year when the City of East Cleveland hosts its annual Memorial Day Parade. Our city takes great pride in honoring those that have served this country through their military and civilian service and, have made the ultimate sacrifice to preserve the privileges and freedoms that we enjoy today as proud Americans.
This year, the parade will be held Monday, May 28, 2018. The parade lineup will begin at 11:00 am, and depart from the East Cleveland Adult Activities Center (at the corner of Euclid and Superior) parking lot at 12:15 noon.
The parade will proceed down Euclid Avenue and end at the Helen S. Brown Senior Center located at 16100 Euclid Avenue. Upon arrival, there will be a short Memorial Day program hosted by the Honorable Mayor Brandon L. King, followed by a lively performance by the renowned Shaw High School Marching Band.
Please plan to participate. You could have a float, car or marchers with your organization’s banner or any other creative alternative. Additionally, we can always use VOLUNTEERS to help us make this a successful event.
To make your reservation to be a part of this year’s memorial activities, please complete the registration form located here and return it to me by email or in person. Reservations need to be made no later than MAY 23, 2018.
In closing, I look forward to your involvement in honoring those that have done so much for us all; I look forward to hearing from you.

Mayor Brandon L. King
